Reflect, Reset, and Realign: End-of-Year Review

Reflect, Reset, and Realign: End-of-Year Review

It’s that time of year again—the moment when the days feel shorter, the air crisper, and the calendar teeters on the edge of a new beginning. For me, this season isn’t just about holiday cheer or setting resolutions; it’s also about looking back.

At the end of each year, I’ve made it a tradition to sit down and do an end-of-year review. It’s a ritual that allows me to reflect on what the year was like, celebrate the highlights, acknowledge the low points, and uncover the lessons woven throughout. I think about what I tried, what worked, and what didn’t, giving myself the space to process and grow.

This year, I created a special End-of-Year Review Worksheet as a structured guide for this reflective practice. The worksheet is organized into meaningful categories—health, career, relationships, and more—making it easier to break down the year and examine different aspects of life. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, the categories provide clarity and focus, helping me dig deeper into my experiences.

Taking a quiet moment out of my day, I sat down with the worksheet and my favourite pen. The process felt grounding and therapeutic, like having a heartfelt conversation with myself. I loved the experience so much that I wanted to share it with you.

If this sounds like something you’d benefit from, I encourage you to give it a try. Whether you download it onto your iPad or print out a hard copy, this free PDF worksheet is my gift to you this season.

You’ll find prompts to guide your reflection, helping you uncover the stories and insights of your year. It’s not about perfection or having all the answers—it’s about creating a space for self-discovery and growth.

Once you’ve tried it, I’d love to hear what you think. How did it feel to reflect on your year? Did anything surprise you? Feel free to share your thoughts or even tag us on social media.

Here’s to closing this chapter with intention and stepping into the next with clarity. 💛
